Miniature Mixed Media ATC 9 Pocket - ART 2020 Q1 Challenge Entry

I’ve been doing a lot of fun atcs recently and decided that’s what I would do for the challenge. I had some scans of my recent sets, miniaturized them, printed, cut, and inked. Then I arranged them in a lamination pouch, ran them through the laminator, trimmed, added the lines with a sewing pattern transfer wheel, and punched holes. Mini book/zine-- ART 2020 Q1 Challenge Entry

I haven’t done any bookbinding in a while (and this hardly counts, since they’re stapled) but I wanted to do something (belatedly…) for everyone in the Little Good Things swap and I’d been looking at little art zines elsewhere on the web, and so this is what I ended up with. Inspired by the “miniature your craft” challenge prompt, I made these two ceramic raven heads for my dollhouse. I got then to stick with a bit of poster putty. This has inspired me. Miniature jewelry swap Art 2020 Q1 Challenge Entry

I love swapping! And I love making jewelry- I make a lot of steampunk style pieces. The distant past, the year 2000… picture little 11 year old me painstakingly selecting pony bead colors and cranking out dozens of bead lizards with which to shower my friends and family. It was one of my favorite crafts at school activity time. So prolific was my lizarding that when I asked my mom if she still had one, she found it the next day! Miniature #toddlerfruit - ART 2020 Q1 Challenge Entry loop

So, I don’t get to craft as much as I did before having kids, so a lot of my creative energy goes to making fun looking fruit bowls for my kids. I use the hashtag “toddlerfruit” on Instagram for them, hence using it in the title. I measured the bowl before I started and it’s around 1:6 scale (I didn’t allow for the shrinkage of the paperclay ) Everything is made from paperclay and painted with watercolour paints. Garden pot - ART 2020 Q1 Challenge Entry

I just remembered; I do pottery! I can play too! so here’s my miniature version of a pot I’d like to make in RL scale: [DSCN6254] just 1.5 inches tall, it’s a medium sized pot in 1" scale, a BIG pot in 1/2" scale, or a small pot in Playscale.
