Almost forgot to link my entry!!
I’ve been doing a lot of fun atcs recently and decided that’s what I would do for the challenge. I had some scans of my recent sets, miniaturized them, printed, cut, and inked. Then I arranged them in a lamination pouch, ran them through the laminator, trimmed, added the lines with a sewing pattern transfer wheel, and punched holes. [20200211_010516]

I’ve finally got mine posted! Apologies on the delay. I updated iOS, and now Photoshop won’t work anymore, so it’s been hard getting pics just right without editing software.
You want me to Miniaturize My Craft? Well buckle up Buttercup. I’ve got a teeny tiny craft just for you!

When I saw this challenge, I was so intrigued with the idea, but I had no idea what to make. I knew I wanted to make a miniature of something that I’m known for making. I had just made miniature jewelry for the Lettuce Craft Curio Cabinet, so that was out. I didn’t really have any interest in making a miniature shawl. But after kicking around some ideas with crafty friends…

But my craft is miniatures!
Does that mean I have to make things microscopic, or can I reverse the challenge and build in full size (RL scale)?

Happy birthday! Maybe make a miniature version of yourself making a miniature? Or miniature versions of the tools that you use? That would be cool.

I had this same issue too, haha!

You know, there is a miniature version for miniatures… I think it’s 1:144 scale, or something like that. lol

1/4" scale would probably be small enough. My fingers are too big and my eyes too old for 1/144.

I finally squeezed in an entry!!
I love swapping! And I love making jewelry- I make a lot of steampunk style pieces.
If I was making a small (I might even say, miniature) swap package, it would look a lot like this:

A necklace and the handmade notecard to go along with it!

PS. I received the teeny cameo in a swap- I don’t remember who sent it, so if it was you, let me know! And whoever you are, THANKS! Isn’t it cute?

Hey most likely the youngest person to enter the contest here, um I kind of arted and it smells like marker!
This is my entry for the miniature challenge, to make this I drew a big picture of Droplet my go to fish drawing then I took toothpicks cut them in half and colored them to look like colored pencils, after that I had the picture printed out smaller then took pic.

I finally got my entry in!
The distant past, the year 2000… picture little 11 year old me painstakingly selecting pony bead colors and cranking out dozens of bead lizards with which to shower my friends and family. It was one of my favorite crafts at school activity time. So prolific was my lizarding that when I asked my mom if she still had one, she found it the next day!

So here is my 20 year old pony bead lizard next to a newborn seed bead friend.

For these miniature versio…

God, I hope I did this correctly- I am HORRIBLE at following written instructions and I am a technological idiot. Here is my entry (I hope):
So, I don’t get to craft as much as I did before having kids, so a lot of my creative energy goes to making fun looking fruit bowls for my kids. I use the hashtag “toddlerfruit” on Instagram for them, hence using it in the title. I measured the bowl before I started and it’s around 1:6 scale (I didn’t allow for the shrinkage of the paperclay )
Everything is made from paperclay and painted with watercolour paints.
I hope it counts as a craft, because it’s about the only crafty thing …
