woo hoo! can’t wait!

Ummm, does anyone know if there is still a way to get into the old craftster stuff? I know I was lucky enough to be partnered with kittykill once before. I don’t want to send her a repeat!

Yay! I’ve been on work retreat mode which was fun but exhausting. Now it’s over and I have time to plan for this swap! :smiley:

Just gott back from a women’s retreat. Ready to start brewing up some creative trouble…

Double, double toil and trouble;

Fire burn and caldron bubble.

Fillet of a fenny snake,

In the caldron boil and bake;

Eye of newt and toe of frog,

Wool of bat and tongue of dog,

Adder’s fork and blind-worm’s sting,

Lizard’s leg and howlet’s wing,

For a charm of powerful trouble,

Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Double, double toil and trouble;

Fire burn and caldron bubble.

Cool it with a baboon’s blood,

Then the charm is firm and good.

…gathering my ingredients.

Okay! Check in time!
What was your favorite Halloween costume?

Hmm…my favorite was when I was maybe 7 years old and I put together my princess costume out of hand me down clothing at my grandmas. I have no idea what I looked like and no picture exists but I thought my outfit was very regal and fancy.

Second favorite was from maybe 20 years ago when I dressed as Death from Sandman. I once again pieced the costume together from my wardrobe.

A picture does exist. I think I just looked Goth. Heh.

Steampunk witxh and steampunk engine. 2017 and many times since. I’m the witch and my sweetie is a wizard…very strong. The engine was for Trunk or Treat. And reused several times.

Hard choice. Probably the year hubby and I went as Mr & Mrs Potato Head. Made us felt potato costumes with 3-D Velcro parts, so we could switch them around. It was definitely a fun ice breaker!

One of my favorite characters is Wednesday. Super easy for me since I can find clothes already in my closet to wear. That year my son wanted to be Aang.

I also make most my son’s costumes and my favorite one that sewed was Toothless.

I usually dress as a witch and don’t have a single photo to prove it. :smile:
