No problem, I appreciate you getting the information. Thank you so much!
Your shawl is so beautifully delicate!
I finished spinning up a pound of undyed wool from Sheep Shed Studio. Pictured before setting the twist, but I expect it to fluff up quite a bit. It’s so soft!
DS2 (age 4) wants a sweater, so I may end up dyeing this for him (or letting him try it out himself).
I used just a bit more than a skein of Nako Angora Luks Color. It was a pretty yarn to use, but if you make a mistake it’s a b to pull out the stitches to get to where you need to correct.
@coryjo I have had that pattern in my Ravelry library for some time. I just love your colors…I am pretty tired of pastels and want something more like yours…
@tendstowardschaos I bet your son will appreciate his sweater if he has a hand in the making! What a wonderful idea!
I brought the beach to me on a fun canvas:
@poetrylover828, I think that fabric will be perfect to back a quilt I have plans to make. Thank you again for the info, it looks like that fabric is in very limited supply, but thankfully, I was able to find a shop with enough for the backing!
That’s great! I’m happy you were able to find it!
My dinoroar disaster quilt is finally done! I spilled coffee over the fabric in December, washed the partially pieced top and ended up with an unravelled, partially shrunk mess. I ended up unpicking everything and sewing it back together. It’s going to it’s new home today and I’m going to work on my big hexie top from the hexie swap in the old place next.
oh that is incentive for me to cut you a few more fabrics and just ship what I have…lol…I love your hexie project!
Thank you so much in advance! I need to finish up a few Halloween advent swap items first but my goal is to put the hexie quilt on my bed this winter.
I changed leggings to a tank top!
Woo another project. All the way up to 4 now . It’s a cross stitch of birds at a feeder that my MIL gave to me. I’m not a big cross stitch person, but she had a few that her mom had that were passed on to me. This one will be going back to my MIL since her mom had started it before passing.
Also, does anyone who does do cross stitch have advice on how to get the hoop marks to relax?
I love the older cross stitch patterns…nicely done…I just iron the creases out…I put a tea towel on top so that it doesn’t crush the stitching…
Here is one I finished recently:
I wonder if it is the same company? The colors and style are similar!
Guess I’ll show off some stuff here! It’s in… some kind of order.

MASKS. For me and family.
I know I am suuuuper late to this thread, but that’s a really great idea! I might go through my craft books and pop a sticky note in one project from each
Ha—late doesn’t start until November at least! If this is providing motivation or accountability for you, it’s all good.
Never too late to join…it is just a place to keep a list if you are a list maker like me!
I a very scatterbrained in many ways so a list helps me focus…
You have to iron it. Put a cloth over to of it to protect the stitching, and lightly steam iron.
I usually soak the fabric in hot water first and then iron it. I only use detergent when there are visible stains.
