50 Projects, Let's Do This! 2022

I got a new storage unit for my studio; now I can access all my fabric and I’m sewing up a storm.
I’m counting every project, even if I don’t post.

I finally have the crafty bug and I’m crocheting for the first time since January. My left shoulder has been hurting really bad lately, and crocheting isn’t helping it, but it doesn’t hurt all that much more, so I’m trying to ignore it. I’ve missed having motivation to do much of anything.

I don’t know how to count these projects, this mugrug I made to use at my office is either #28 or #80, lol. Either way, it’s on my desk making me happy!

More stuff tonight. Finished 3 masks for kid # 1 & fixed one more that needed a new nose wire.

Made another wrist pin cushion. The button is vintage shell from my collection, I love using them.

& let out a fancy dress for my coworker’s daughter.
I seem to be making every day which has me feeling pretty great.

I finished a set of leg warmers for my daughter from the yarn @Amfkinney sent in the flat rate swap. I’ve been meaning to make some for her since the weather turned cold ans then forgot every week until laying out the clothes for the next day’s class :woman_facepalming:t2: I finally got them done AND this next class is themed “mismatched” so they almost appear intentionally made just for this! Score! Haha

WOOHOO, 50 projects completed!

Shall I take the rest of the year off? no, I guess not.
I’ve never tracked how many crafts I do in a year, this has been enlightening.

That was my experience the first year I tracked. Plus it’s fun to look back at a photo list of projects.

Are they ever going to open up Australia to packages? I have checked daily and still have your package. I am trying to figure out if maybe another country, like New Zealand, is allowed to send you guys packages…or England…I would be happy to send it to a third party and pay the third party to get it to you!!! It is almost 9 months now?

Thanks…this is from my huge collection of aboriginal designed fabrics…I am working through them so I can move to my African designed fabrics!

I have no idea what’s going on! We were discussing that the other day in the Matchbox Swap discussion thread. @PrincessP said she received something from US, but that pesky message is still on the USPS page!

One of my in-laws was just here in the states from Australia to pack up and send back to his new home all the things he had in storage. He was able to ship but it had to go via a special “Very Expensive” service. Something like expedited but not that word. And maybe through a fedex/ups kind of company and not the usps but i’m not sure about that. I do know he shipped a ton of boxes successfully, though.

I think I’m around 43 projects on my list? Still unsure how to count sets of coasters, affirmations, cards, etc. Each batch is “1” of many. Not that it matters, I’ll just keep on making stuff, lol.

I sent this to Oz but it went as letter mail rather than a package so I hope it arrives ok!

Your scrappy projects are just fabulous! You are so prolific so no matter how you count, you will be beyond 50, if not already!

I am going to have to catch up to see all the things everyone made…it brings me joy and respite to see them…I forgot how my daily involvement was my own best “medicine” for happiness!

I have sent letters to Australia but the package to Mel is large…It was already over $30 just regular shipping, but I am going to check to see if there are alternatives…nothing inside can be shipped as a letter, unfortunately!
