A bit of paper, a bit of paint - 4x6 art finally done!

A while back, I received from wonderful fun 4x6 pieces to hang in my new office at home from @GeekyBookworm. I finally got around to sending her some pieces back…she had sloths and reading as two of her themes, so I decided to do one of each.

The sloth is cut from paper, layered on some masterboard by @geekgirl, and, because it was too small, layered onto yet another piece to make it 4x6. A lot of fiddly pieces but lots of fun to put together. I drew and cut out all the pieces by hand.

The swinging girl was a piece of clip art I cut out and used but had to adjust her swing because I wanted her to be standing proud. The books are cut out but the tree branch is drawn in with a marker. Layered on a piece of painted paper…the book page was torn from Britannica on the subject of Robin Hood…perfect for a teenager in that rebellious stage of life!
