Antique sap tap mobile

These 1940s maple sap taps were in my childhood garage and I finally snagged 'em a few years ago when i moved. I only just now got around to making a mobile out of them. I am lousy with math so it took some doing (and mistakes and head-shaking) to set up the graduated strings.

Holder is outer embroidery hoop ring.

Thanks for looking!

This looks really neat! At first glance I thought they were painted bones.

How interesting! I had one spile from visiting a heritage village years ago, I always thought it was so neat looking. Cool to find a way to display them.
