I tend to read fantasy and novels, and inadvertently wind up picking up one book that’s in a series so a lot of my reading is completing the set. Lately I’ve been reading more lighthearted things (discworld, phryne fisher) interspersed with books on animal ethics - which as one might guess tend to be a bit of a downer.
Less relevant for a bookmark swap, but I like listening to memoirs narrated by the author too!
I just finished another swap package, so I can finally move my energies to this one! I have my ideas already, now to just make them happen.

Probably my favourite sort of book is sci-fi/fantastical/magic realism short stories. And non-fiction books about art.

As for my fave genres… I’m all over the place. I read non-fiction (with a special love for science, sociology, and history), middle grade, young adult, fantasy, sci fi, mystery (cozy, thriller, and contemporary), romance, a teeny tiny bit of horror, thrillers, the occasional anthology or literary fiction. Apparently I have genre ADD.
Though I’ve been on an urban fantasy and mystery kick lately and doing a Discworld re-read.

Mostly horror and fantasy for fiction…for non fiction, arts and crafts, gardening/house plants,
horses, nature…
I’m hoping to finish up this weekend…if I don’t mess it up at the last minute

I’m doing OK. Forgot the Swap Anxiety gremlin exists; it is currently partying with the other gremlins. My dad’s mental health is terrible right now, so we’re trying to look after him.
My favourite genres include Sci-fi, especially Becky Chambers, Fantasy, especially Terry Pratchett, and according to The Storygraph, LGBTQIA+ books are among my favourites. This is my All Time genres graph, so represents about 3.5 years of reading.

Mine are made, I am working on packaging them up and sending them during this week. Delivery to the USA takes about a week, apparently,
