Everyone should get birthday greetings from somewhere and this is such a great community!
You never know when someone might be isolated or feeling alone.
In all the years in which I have been “online” (even pre-internet) there has always been one place that was “home” - On Compu$erve it was the Gamers’ Forum (where I got to know the man I eventually married), then it was Delphi and then Portal - finally once the internet arrived it was EBSQ - a sitet for artists that had a very vibrant forum. When Facebook happened EBSQ lost the interaction it had and there was so much going on in our off line lives that I wasn’t really connected.
LettuceCraft is home base now, because of the amazing people here! The creativity is always interesting, but it’s the people here that make it home!
I love this so much. I know people post on other places like Facebook and Insta, but those don’t have the same feel to me. It’s just clicks and likes, not real people connecting. I am thankful for each person that comes here!
