While I had some of my Christmas supplies out, I thought I would try the lovely coasters that @craftADDchick posted.
The first one, I followed her tutorial and the link to do the border. The link showed a method that was too fiddly and taking me way too long to get it done.
I did all the loops using the main yarn, skipping every other stitch.
I then attached the red and CH4, slipped the chain through the loop, attached it in the skipped loop. It was still a bit fiddly but still way faster.
I have the perfect sized boxes that I am going to decorate and put the coasters inside. I need to make three sets…four, if I want a set of my own!
So now, I need to just make a mental note where I am keeping these gifts so I don’t forget about them…maybe a written note on my calendar in the month of December!
