I’d like to correct that project title for you. It should read “Needle Felting Success.”

Prompt: July - Borders, July Postcard Club
Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Washi Tape Art Gallery
Project Link: Little art gallery card
Brief Description: I used the washi tape from the inside of my Summer Camp package to make this postcard. I imagine that were Borders still around today, you’d probably be able to buy postcards and maybe even a few select washi tapes from them. Like the books you could buy at Borders way back when, this postcard also features words (just on the other side of this little art gallery).

Our MIGHTY jackfruit tree currently has fruits! (It can be hard to keep up with processing them when they decide to ripen. :upside_down_face:)

Prompt: July - Battle - Technology
Team: finger painters
Project Name: Lemons
Project Link:
Brief Description: I used my cookie cutter for the July arts and crafts club and a sharpie to make a drawing, took a photo, and then turned it into a mosaic blanket chart. It took me long enough I could claim big time, but I’m going with the battle for this one.

Talk about creativity! I love how you thought outside the box on this. Who would’ve thought the cookie cutter would be used to make a blanket!?

Here’s some ABSTRACT collaborative art in the little garden at my community pottery studio!

edit to add: Abstract

(And just in case anyone is wondering, my contribution is on a different garden pole… it’s this brain covered in barnacles. Submitted as evidence/accountability, not as a prank prompt :upside_down_face:)

That is adorable! How clever of you!

I adore jackfruit! How lucky you are! But they do take some work to process, that’s true. Those are some mighty trees!

That is impressive!

I wouldn’t be surprised if, after I die, an autopsy reveals a brain very much like this one you’ve created

Sorry I’ve been having an awful time of keeping up lately!

@stirlingarts those little soot sprites are adorable! Are they crocheted? Sewn?
Also, nice work on the bench repaint. That looks like a great spot to spend time in the summer!
Great job on the lucky stars! And yes, I’ve found that the paper used makes a huge difference, but sometimes there are still stars that really don’t want to puff up!

@Bunny1kenobi those “fancy” eyebrows made me cackle out loud, lol. Excellent use of store piñatas!
Also, great idea on the prompt dice!!

@HeroicHatchling a cat toy is such a good use for a scrap piece of fleece!
Also, that scarecrow is so cute! (and I especially love those colorful chicken friends who also wandered into the shot :upside_down_face:)
Also, those soda can stars are a really cool way to use the cookie cutter!

@saintcady that linen shirt looks so lovely, and I bet it’s super comfortable!! (the jersey one also looks super comfy too!)

@storerboughtcreation such a cute postcard. I love that you included (@gozer 's favorite cryptid?) mothman!
Also, I can’t even wrap my head around the blanket charting you do! Truly amazing (and also another unique use for the cookie cutter!)

@Nightlight Beautiful postcard! I was also delighted to find if waiting in my own mailbox!
Also, that beautiful cross stitch is a wonderful use for the cookie cutter!

@MistressJennie Your watercolors are lovely, and I love that bright ultramarine on those blueberries!!

@Tapestry your box of love for your friend is truly something special! So many well-thought out details. They’re so lucky to have you!
Also, that jackalope is so cute!

@gozer nice work on rhe first try at kintsugi. It definitely isn’t easy at all, but you pulled it off! And I always love seeing your mothman art!
That skeleton hand embroidery is so beautiful , omg.

@megwell I’m pretty sure I mentioned it already, but I love how you used the cookie cutter to make a little spirograph!

@AudiobookLover that postcard is so fun! I love that use for the variety of washi tape from inside the camp box!

Oh yeah, also, I just cut up this perfectly SWEET (and delightfully not-very-big) jackfruit!

edit: Sweet
