OMGosh that gentleman ATC cracks me up!!!

@megwell, that mysterious man cracks me up as well, lol! I like the “masterboard flavoured” candy, and I think the running lips are funny, too. And that junk journal is just  I love seeing how everyone has bound theirs; so neat! And I like how you altered the cards to provide some writing space, too. And that’s too bad the post ate your first greeting card, but this second one is beautiful!

@Bunny1kenobi what a beautiful ATC (I also read your community post), and a beautiful, loving story to go along with it. It’s so wonderful to have some art to remember that special moment. I also love your ghost robe; that’s really well made!

@craftADDchick Care Bears! So cute  I grew up with them, not on TV but as toys, I remember having at least 2 stuffies. I love your dedication to help your team look its best

@LovelyMiss Your felted wool ball trivets are so pretty and colourful! Ad wow; you did a great job with the fabric marker on those socks; they look like they came that way from the store! What cute gnomes, too  I think I missed a post about your gift buffet and I’m very intrigued—could you share the link where you explain it? The pottery is just gorgeous; I would love to learn some day, too. Have you done both wheel and hand thrown? If so, which one do you like best?

Prompt: Research Project
Team: So Corn-fused
Project Name: Candles
Project Link: Soy Wax Candles
Brief Description: I made candles again! I’m submitting them as a research project because I upped my game pretty drastically this year, making almost all of my own custom scent blends, which I’ve never done before. I got little scent test strips and everything, lol. I wanted to quit several times. People requested scents (at my prompting), but many of them were scents I don’t like. I also get headaches from smells very easily (WHY did I choose this craft?!). It was a barf-y feeling several days. I went waaaay overboard with all the blends I chose to try. But I’m happy with the end products, so it was worth it. There’s more info in the link!

*Project Name: Scrapbook Page 1 (for this season ;P)
Project Link: N/A
Brief Description: This looks like a very simple page, but it ended up taking me hours because as I sifted through papers and stickers and things, I ended up sorting a ton of them. Now I have a very organized scrapbooking area and one simple but pretty page! Also, this was for a villains and superheroes murder mystery party and these characters would DEFINITELY go the old-school stakeout route to find more criminals!

Project Name: Crocheted Impkin

Brief Description: A coworker has listened to me complain more than she probably should have to, and she’s been having a rough time with both her personal life and work, so I went the old-school route of passing notes… little mailman Impkin had a bunch of little “letters” with inspirational messages printed inside! I left it anonymously on her desk, but she guessed it was me!

Okay, I’m getting this in last minute- it took me 3 1/2 hours to make this tonight, and I really should have been working on getting my house ready for an inspection next week! But, there’s always this weekend!

In any case…

Prompt: November Battle- High Tech Surveillance
Team: Team Don’t Stop Beleafing
Project Name: Crochet Christmas Tree
Project Link: coming soon, I hope
Brief Description: One of my crochet club students wanted to make a Christmas tree, so I bought this pattern. I figured that I should make it so I would know how it went together. It’s supposed to have a star at the top, but it’s after 11:30 PM and the alarm rings at 5:30 AM, so it’s a plain tree. And, I just realized that I forgot the little smile, so the tree looks a little grumpy (and the picture isn’t the greatest. but, again, it’s after 11:30  ). It fits the prompt because when I was a kid, the local Sears store had a “talking” Christmas tree. When you walked by, it would shake a little and talk to you. I seem to recall that it responded to what you actually said to it, so I can only imagine that there was someone sitting in a room with a camera and a microphone (high tech for the times!), interacting with people as they walked by. This little tree reminded me of that!
