Brief Description:
The class I followed for this guides you through exploring tints and shades, to create slightly different colors that would work well together. And then cutting the swatches created into shapes to create a collage. In the class she created flowers, but I went with a fish and some seaweed. This uses a lot of glue for all the scales and fronds of seaweed, and the colors are bright.

My friend brought a very old and falling apart Winnie the Pooh book and encouraged us to create collages, to give it a second round of life. The background is pink, and like the muppets, there are a lot of different animals and characters here.

I’m not sure I have a favorite song, I love so many different ones. But, we have two favorite car games that we play on long drives - one is a song game where one person says a word and everyone sings songs with that word, and the other is Tree. Tree started as a sort of variation of the “I spy” game, where we gave all sorts of I spy definitions that all ended up being the word tree (like, “I spy something green” and “I spy something tall”). So, sometimes the transition from one game to the other is with the word tree. There are a lot of songs with that word, the current favorite in our game is Lemon Tree.

Brief Description:
I couldn’t do all the classes during the free period of Sketchbook Revival, and for some I just wanted to keep some notes instead of the entire class. So I wrote them all down in the sketchbook itself, with the important bits I wanted to remember from them and some little doodle reminders. These are some of the pages.
