Project Name & Link: Intro to Quilting - Quilt As You Go Potholder Tutorial
Brief Description: Earlier this month I taught an intro to quilting class, focusing on the technique of Quilt As You Go, making potholders. To do so, I wrote out a heck of a long tutorial, taking detailed photos for my students to follow along, and making a set of potholders as I did so. Since I had already written it, I also posted it here on LC for everyone to share!

Brief Description: For the above quilting class, I also made up kits for each student to pick from. I spent two full afternoons, and a few random here and there hours, ironing and cutting everything, and packing them all up. All told I made 14 kits, one of which I used as a demo, meaning there were 13 left for students to pick from. I was so pleased with how they came out. We ended up having a small class of 3, so now I have spares for the next time I offer the class.

Brief Description:
I signed my daughter & I up for a Preschoolers pottery class. While Ada made a mess, I was able to create a few small pieces. A heart for my husband for our 19th Anniversary, a small purple bunny for my mom for Mother’s Day, and a little ring dish for my kitchen.
