California Poppies

I’ve embroidered a little here and there, as an accent or detail on something sewn or knit, but I’ve never embroidered a full image. My son and I decided to take a free embroidery class together when the opportunity arose, and this was the result. It used satin stitch, split stitch, and chain stitch. All single strands of thread.
