Mine are ready to go except for putting in envelopes. Thankfully we have a few days. I just had dental surgery last night and didn’t realize how much it would hurt.

For those shipping from the US, remember tomorrow is a federal holiday so there’s no postal service and the post office will be closed. That means we’ve got Saturday and Monday to get those envelopes in the mail. Remember to message me and your partner(s) when you send!

Mine are ready to send out! It’s been an extremely hot day here, so I’m going to wait until it cools down or maybe until after dark before I walk to the mailbox.
I think I figured out a way to send without them getting intercepted by customs people. Fingers crossed that works!

I’m still worried that it might not work. It doesn’t help that my items include some wire that will show up when x-rayed.

I used an A5 envelope and a piece of A5 cardstock. I taped the tea to the cardstock so the tea is facing towards the middle. I folded the card open so it’s also A5 and put it on the other side of the envelope. Then I put my craft in the middle. From the outside, it feels like a big envelope full of paper. It weighs 40 gram, so well within the 50 gram limit. Of course if someone is going to X-ray it and really pays attention they’re going to figure it out, but I hope they don’t have time to do that for every single letter.

Oh that’s really clever! I need to check what’s the size limit for a 50g letter here. In Germany all of the letters have both size and weight limitations.

Mine has wire inside too. Crossing fingers or all works out!
Though I enjoyed making my “cards" so much I’m… stockpiling extras. So if the wire causes a problem I’m ready to re-send as needed.
