I think I may be done! I spent a lot of time with my Thing today. I’m setting it aside for the night so I can look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow and figure out if it’s really finished, or not.

I actually had a nightmare about this swap last night, I think that’s my first swap-related dream 
In the post office, I had to open my carefully wrapped package to get the batteries out as apparantly that isn’t allowed (can’t find that anywhere on their website though) and I had to pack it up again in a hurry. In my dream I didn’t do that properly and everything was broken. Let’s hope that remains a nightmare!

The USPS forbids shipping lithium batteries here, but doesn’t mention other kinds. At least domestically, probably more rules for international shipping.
That probably doesn’t help you, but I just had to agree to the hazmat rules when shipping a package yesterday, so it was fresh in my mind.
I hope really shipping your package is a (good) dream come true!
