Whew. Glad everything worked out.

My favorite part is the stalking and planning.

I have ideas for both @Manders and @artsycandice but I need to let them percolate a bit longer before finalizing.

This is a good reminder. After my first awesome idea, more came. lol So… I also must sit until one idea wins the battle in my mind and comes forward as champion.

I’m supremely amused by the thought of crafty ideas battling it out in a bloody vicious battle to see who emerges.

I’ve now wrapped up the color in a box swap so I’m turning my full attention to this one. The stalking can commence in earnest.

Reminder, this is a three week swap, so don’t dilly-dally and get caught off guard.

First Check-in question:
In honor of the OTT, What is your favorite acronym?

Choosing a fave acronym is hard! But in honor of it being Friday, I’ll go with TGIF because I’m really feeling it. All I want to do is craft, but work and real life are conspiring against me this week.

Oh good reminder! I would have forgotten and taken my time.

And my favorite acronym is brb. Be Right Back. Hahaha. I used that a lot during my aim chatting days

I can’t think of one that I use besides the ones I use related to healthcare. I tend to avoid the ones used commonly in text speech for no reason than I just never got around to adopting them and I feel weird using them. So I’ll tell a story about one instead.

When I first moved to Portland Oregon way back when I was barely an adult, the parents at the daycare I worked at knew I was a new transplant because I called OMSI - Oh-Em-Ess-Eye, rather than ahm-zee.

My favorite is FAFO (also seen FAAFO). . .

Hahaha! I had to look it up. I guess no one has ever texted that to me!

I don’t use acronyms in texting - I mostly spell out words - but that’s my favorite cultural one.

I had to look it up as well. Never seen that one, but it made me laugh.

Some days I really appreciate the existence of “WTF?”.

I also barely use acronyms in text. I still text in full sentences with punctuation most of the time, as well. I feel like “TMI” gets directed at me a lot…

TMI -thats hilarious!

I text full sentences with puncuation too!

Okay I think I know what I’m going to make both @Manders and @artsycandice but I better get started tomorrow just in case I need to pivot. It relies on a skill I consider my strength but my word…4 inches is ridiculously small.
