No reason why…
I just busted out laughing reading that random sentence…
I have a list of ideas for my partner, @jeanneleigh! Now just to get started. I’m hoping this week.
I saw Christmas decs in Costco at the end of August - way too early for me! I like to wait at least until after Halloween. And I was shopping somewhere recently that was playing Christmas music! ![]()
Started working on part of @Kwality570 's Santa Sack - so excited to be in this swap!
I narrowed down my ideas, and I am excited to start. I might wait to pick the sack until last so I know how big to make it.
I am doing the opposite…I am making my bag first so I know when to stop filling it! ![]()
Christmas music in stores is whole other question. I wouldn’t want the music until November. Christmas stuff is fine though lol
I got one item done over the weekend and had fun making it. I plan on working on another one on Tuesday!
I’m in brainstorming mode now!
I made something I thought @AIMR might like, but mr jemimah really really likes it … I think I’ll have to make another one!
Tell him to keep his mitts off my things! ha ha ha
I had some time while visiting with family to come up with a few project ideas as well!
I have most of my ideas thought out and have started one item and about about half way done with it.
Check in question: Do you consider Die Hard a Christmas movie?
More of a holiday seasonal movie…my husband has certain movies he watches only at certain times:
Planes, Trains and Automobiles at Thanksgiving; Die Hard at Christmas; Exorcist in the Spring; etc.
I like old timey Christmas movies in the background…even the Hallmark ones that are predictable and boring! ha
I haven’t actually watched them, but have you all heard how Bruce Willis has a form of dementia that is taking away his speech? It’s so sad.
I made some good progress on a medium item for my partner this weekend! Making decent progress feels so good!!!
I’ve never seen the Die Hard movies at all. With all of the pop culture discussion of them, I almost feel like I have though. It’s always on my list to watch, but I’m not much of a movie person these days, so it always slips my mind.
Die Hard isn’t on my holiday watch list, but if it’s on yours, more power to you. I’m not going to dictate how others choose to celebrate the holiday! ![]()
I’m surprised people haven’t seen Die Hard! We watch 1 and 2 every December along with Home Alone 1&2 and Elf.
I’ll stop crashing the swap thread now ![]()
I’ve finished the medium item and gotten one stocking stuffer. Working on the small items and having such fun making things that it’s going to be hard to decide how to finish them and which to select!
I always watch the Santa Claus movies one each weekend kinda like an advent, then finish with Polsr Express or another movie I am blanking on the name.
The Die Hard movies are fun, though I haven’t seen them for a long time, I don’t especially think of them as Christmas movies though. I enjoy watching the cheesy hallmark romcoms, they’re a good, silly background for fun crafting.
Yes, it is a Christmas movie.
