I like to use waxed paper on the top and bottom of glued items between whatever I’m squishing it with for this exact reason. Next time give it a try!
I’m making some good progress on my items. One is drying and the other is only in my mind (but I’m planning to get it done very soon)!

I hope I can send on Monday. Just need to figure out what’s needed for customs.
