Craft Room Clean-Up

It’s so easy to do the “I’ll just put this here for now” thing… my “for now” looks like a disaster zone.

Your room looks fantastic! And I bet you feel awesome crafting in it!

Same! Thanks for your inspiring post. I’m making incremental progress on my creative mess

@Silky_Bee - thanks! A good percentage of it is art from swaps. I love being surrounded by art as I work.

@Annchen - the rainbow drawers were definitely a lucky find! Congrats on the progress you’ve made so far! You can 100% do this. Letting go of things is something I struggle with, but now that it’s going ro a re-use store rather than Goodwill that’s a bit easier for me. But just a bit as I’m a craft supply hoarder :joy:.

@Bunny1kenobi - my creative process is always chaos in action! But I do like being to find supplies in my room for that chaos.

@stirlingarts - any progress is good! Baby steps still get you there in the end and organizing craft supplies is very zen (at least for me).

That looks so good! My family knows my sewing/craft room will never be ‘clean’ but since it is MY room they don’t fuss. Every once in a while, I do sort, clean, and organize it. But it never stays that way for long.

This looks great, @Tapestry! I love a good craft hoard cleanup. I love the art gallery. What an awesome collection.

I had to reorganize all of my crafty goods last Christmas when we got our little one a 6’ trampoline that ended up in my craft room. My supplies all got shoved onto a storage shelf (which is probably more organized than the room ever was, but does make it hard to see everything sometimes!)

Welcome to LC, @Vanbrat!

Thanks, @Vanbrat, and welcome to LC! My craft room is an ongoing battle. Right now there’s fabric piled in a chair, papers piled on my rainbow cart, and a few paint supplies scattered on my desk from the other evening. I’m a chaotic crafter!

@fluffypants - thank you! The art gallery is my fave. My family continually invades me craft room. It’s my fault for having a chair where they can sit :joy:.
