In Pots or in the Ground?
Both!
Absolutely both, but raised beds are nice for when ground level is too far away.
Both for me.
Both! I so love the spring when everything in the ground is surprising as it comes to such vibrant life and color!
I always run out of garden space and add in planters though.
I love when flowers are inbetween the rocks like that. I bought some seeds to do that in my backyard this year, but life had other ideas. I think the seeds will last until next year and I can try again. Your look beautiful.
These two need to be repotted ASAP. One of my coworkers took her cucumbers to work before going on a long vacation. The reasoning being theyâd 100% die at her place, so why not bring them to work for us to kill take care of.
Theyâve survived for more than a week, but I rescued the saddest looking cuke for some repotting.
The tomato is the same one I traded for and itâs getting cramped in there.
I am headed to the nursey to finally get dome plants this year!
Some weird and unexpected drama happening with our house build plans has made outside gardening a questionable idea at the moment⌠Gah!! Just when the weather is getting good here. I am now definitely limited to container gardening until this project is either finished or scrapped.
I hope you donât mean you house when you say scrapped.
We had a moment of wanting to give up, but I think weâre past that now. Someone in the local government is just working hard at not letting us do anything, even if she canât find an actual rule weâve broken. Itâs demoralizing. But I will be talking to the state building folks soon and they have authority over this person at the town plannerâs office. I have hope.
Boo⌠got stuck in traffic and missed my water aerobic class.
But that means I can work on my swap package. Iâm less than 20% done so thereâs much to do still. Plus I needto decide if I want to make some kind of _________ to go with it.
Check-In Question: Whatâs your favorite gardening tip?
Use compost!
Make sure to go through hardening process before planting outside.
The best protection against pests isnât poison, itâs having healthy plants and habitat for pest-eating critters.
I donât know, I guess I mostly wing it? Maybe to donât be afraid to try (and sometimes fail).
Okay, so⌠Cucumbers like to climb in curtains I guessâŚ
Also: small bit of craft progress tonight. The ______ and ________ fit together! Wohoo!
One week from today are send-outs!
This weekâs Check-in Question is: Are you on track, and will you be ready to send on the 26th?
On track. One done, one in process.
