I haven’t gotten my mail for two days now…we are having a carrier overload in our area so bunches of mail should reach me by Monday!
I did manage to receive two pieces of slightly mangled mail from @magpie (with camping tales!) and from @PhoenixFireDesigns (with some cool shiny stickers!)…thank you…
I am in a slump so at least outwardly, I am smiling!

Thank you…I think I am just bored…retirement during a pandemic was not exactly my plan, so I am having to adapt with more activities at home instead of traveling! It is a 1st world problem, so I just need a kick in the butt and stop my self-pity…lol…I will be fine as I immerse myself in a new book and prepare for visitors in October (my sister and my nephew from Oregon!)…you are so kind…this group cheers me up immensely!
As a person with several chronic health issues I know how important it is to have ‘projects’ going on, no matter how bad you feel physically. Always having something on hand, it doesn’t have to be or shouldn’t be urgent, but just urgent enough to have one or two goals a day.
That being said: four more Happy Mails are on their way!

I am rather concerned because no mail was picked up or delivered yesterday even though my Informed Delivery said I had 8 pieces (one is a postcard from @susieoregon) :(.
I got a lot on Monday around 10 pm, but it was from Fri-Sat…Maybe I will get mail every other day for a while…I know they are swamped, but it is troubling…
good grief, 10pm is so late!
I noticed our carrier dropping off mail around 5:15pm yesterday, when they usually come around 3:30 or so…
the pandemic hiccups continue!

I sent out a bunch of postcards today. I apologize in advance for my horrible handwriting. I can’t even read what I wrote. 
Finally! I got three days of mail today, but not today’s mail, which probably will come sometimes this week…lol…I feel for all delivery services with all that is going on…
Anyway, thanks @susieoregon for a fun Bigfoot postcard…interesting, because when I was vacationing in Colorado, we stayed in a town that was filled with Bigfoot trinkets, postcards, etc. I even had my picture taken with a Bigfoot statue at the top of Pike’s Peak…he must be a traveler! lol

I’m back. I have a ton of happy mail to post. Such a treat to come back to.
I also came home to a yard full of weeds as tall as me. I promptly tried to pull them and got most of them but I also wound up straining my butt and thigh muscles…on the left side of my body mostly. 
Which would be super funny if I could walk without screeching in pain.
Anyhow, I’ll post my happy mail when I get a chance and I’m hoping to jump back into sending happy mail out soon.
