@CraftsUntold - wow, those knitted lights are amazing - I tried to crochet using a similar strand and gave up really quickly, I found them so difficult to manage!
@ErinAquaheart - those shortbread cookies look so tasty and so very cute. I would definitely nibble those adorable little ears off first
Bit of a project dump incoming, was planning to upload a few at a time, but Christmas took over!

Class or Challenge Title: Headmistress - Trees: Bells
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name & Page Link: Recipe - https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/classic_christmas_cake_04076
Brief Description: The cake was made back in mid-October and has been fed with brandy every weekend since. It was covered in marzipan a week before Christmas and iced 2 days before. The thing with fruit cake is that you never really know how it is going to taste until it is cut – apparently it tastes as good as it looks (I can’t stand fruit cake, so don’t know personally!)

Class or Challenge Title: Headmistress - Trees: Icicles
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name & Page Link: Recipe - https://theviewfromgreatisland.com/butter-pecan-shortbread/ (although I used almonds, not pecans)
Brief Description: This shortbread needs two different periods of heating – the butter needs to be melted at the start of the recipe and then baking once made. I have previously made this with pecans, which I loved, but this time I made it with almonds at hubby’s request. He prefers the almond version!
