I am still working through my grandmother’s WIP crochet project, which is from a pattern in a 1972 women’s magazine. (I think she probably started it in 1972 tbh.) Can anyone tell me what it means when it says to do something ‘0’ times?
I would assume that means to skip that step?
So I would start the alternating of decreases on that edge straight away?
Looks like there are three sizes, so yes, if you are doing the second size, start the alternating decreases 12 times while following the instructions before it…just skip the “at the same time dec at front slope in every row” part…
Thankyou both! I am starting to think my grandmother got fed up with this project! She did all of the straight rows on all three pieces and got up to the decreases.
ha ha I am sure you are right…I used to get stuck on knitted sweaters at the decreases as well…but if you have ever made clothing, you sort of get the gist of what has to happen…the shape the sleeve has to be…don’t give up! Even if it is not perfect, it will be done…
