In response to the Corona virus stress, sleeplessness and anxiety. I made a nest for myself, somewhere to retreat from the world, read, draw, snooze, dream.
It was a corner under the eaves, that mostly was used for storage
Lots of lovely lettucehead crafts help make it gorgeous.
This is the before
Top end with space for books etc.
Bottom end with a lovely cupboard I picked up years ago in a thrift shop, it’s been looking for a home

And what’s inside?
chocolate!
I made bunting, but everythingthing else was gathered from around the house.

I love it! I loved the one that kittykill made, and I love this one just as much! And, it’s like a tardis- it seems bigger on the inside! The way you have it arranged makes such good use of a small, inefficient space. The chocolate cubby is fantastic, too. And, having a little shelf there already makes it seem like it was destined to be a little reading nook.

Thanks. I’m lucky, the window overlooks a cherry blossom tree, which is shortly to bloom.
