Pretty much the same answer as @Bunny1kenobi, keyless entry for the convenience and skeleton key for the esthetics.
I realized I don’t have the skills to make my original idea so I’m considering alternatives at the moment.

If it’s for crafts, definitely a skeleton key! If it’s for use, keyless for sure.

Absolutely skeleton key. I don’t trust an entry method that relies on power functioning properly. I use them when I have to, like at lodgings or friends’ houses, but I require a manual method to get into things that are important or involve safety in any way. I even purposefully made sure my car, despite having the key fob function for speed use, definitely has one actual key hole for the driver’s door, just in case.

A skeleton key is called that because it’s been filed down to its essential parts, like a skeleton, to open multiple locks, primarily warded locks. The term emphasizes that the key has been reduced to its most basic form, allowing it to bypass the wards (internal obstructions) within the lock mechanism.

For practical use probably key less entry.
Though I definitely agree with @Bunny1kenobi that a skeleton key has more charm, and romance!
I’ve got one keychain done. But I’ll send them at the same time. 
(Well I THINK it’s done, but I could add some things maybe)

I don’t think I had decided on a design yet at that point. Both my partners asked for a bag charm. I was trying to figure out the difference between a bag charm and a keychain. Lol. My investigation is that a bag charm is a keychain on steroids.

I tend to be quiet with my keys. years ago I had a mini laser pointer on my keys to play with the cats. Because otherwise I could never find the laser pointer.
But it just trained one cat I had at the time to go absolutely bonkers whenever she heard my keys and she would try to go out the door with me. So I learned to be super quiet.

I too like to jangle or fidget with them. But these days I only have one real key so it’s no fun.
