First, from dharma_rebel/Rachel:
Some beautifully embroidered towels for my Harry Potter loving self…then some extras like Disney diecuts & a VW bus sticker.

Next up, from JoyfulClover:
an absolutely gorgeous PAPERCUT nativity to add to my collection! And it safely arrived in the frame, too, so extra lucky, lol.
Then some extras from a local wildlife place near her…including a reusable metal straw. Woo!
Ohmigosh, the little birdy footprints!
I got my package from @Bunny1kenobi today: tiny apothecary buttons & a cute bookmark, plus a really cool handmade card…
And 3 simple but nice placemats (of which my household is in dire need.)
Thanks so much!
I received from @Magpie yesterday…oooh!
A colourful owl card with some butterflies tucked inside. Their wings are just lovely - what are they made out of? Also, the chocolate…may not have lasted too long after I took the picture.
Oh my gosh, this rainbow of butterfly cards! I’m an ardent writer-of-letters-and-thank-you-notes, and I love them! Who can’t be cheered by the ROYGBIV of it all?
Thank you for starting off my weekend on such a happy note!
he is fantastic! I love his little whiskers so much.
I love the 3d bird’s nest on the little hoop. And the fabric for the placemats is wonderful.
Lots of great items! I particularly love those Harry Potter towels.
I have been out of town for a couple of nights and returned to my wonderful swap from bugaboo. I will be posting pics tomorrow.
Awesome loot boxes!

So many wonderful things! Zipper pouches are always so handy, I love that batik fabric one, and the clear window is such a clever idea! The hoop with pockets is fab, and I’m drooling over that retro fabric. I can’t believe how cute the tiny dog is

I received from thanate!
A delicious looking book that I’m looking forward to devouring, and an adorable steampunk bunny on a shattering silk bookmark! And a fun, stamped notecard, of course.
Thank you thanate! Great start to my post- C-ster swapping experience!
This gallery is becoming more and more amazing by the hour! That little dog that nativity
and so many other great items.
Mail isn’t delivered on Sundays and Mondays but I’m really hoping there’s something for me in the mail on Tuesday!
Wow, amazing things in this gallery. That retro simplicity fabric is awesome. I love the wee dog and pockety hoop and window pouch. And everything. This is an epic swap! How fitting it was the last from the dead place and one of our first galleries here
Agreed! I’m also really glad the gallery is here (rather than offsite) so that folks who join LC who are new to swapping and to us can get a sense of how awesome it (and we ) are, and get excited, or at least intrigued, about getting involved once swapping begins. I think the tone and content of this thread sets a great example (I’m sure the other gallery threads do too, I just haven’t looked at them yet
) : that as a community, we take our swap commitments very seriously and do our best for swap partners (“best” being a highly subjective term that varies by the individual, the time/resource constraints, and the intention, and doesn’t imply expertise), while recognizing that perfection doesn’t exist and ultimately our purpose is to have fun and connect with one another. We appreciate the uniqueness and thought that go into what people send, and encourage each other’s exploration of new media and techniques (experiment projects can be the best swap items!), rather than judging and critiquing each other; we self-critique plenty already.
@fluffypants painted pets!!! these are AWESOME!!! squeeeeeeee!!! I mean, so much excellence here!
@Averia great stitching on the Ravenclaw banner!
@endymion the doggo, with replacement whiskers??? And the fabric with animals in a tree? Great package, fo sho!
@dinkime I’m relieved it arrived safely and you like it!
I’m so glad you liked everything! Machine embroidery is one of my new crafty obsessions. It’s definitely not the meditative hand stitching I usually do, but it’s satisfying in a different way.
Wow! What a special banner. The embroidery is just perfect.
The pouch @Edel made is super pretty, I love batik fabrics.
@plaidpineapple what a neat idea to add a clear window to the pouch! And I adore that cute quilted tree ornament. Also, hoop with a pocket? Cool!
@endymion the tiny Scotty dog! Oh my squee, that is too much!
@Smeddley your hooplah is great, that wee nest is simply charming.
@dharma_rebel great theme mash-up there, I could see a lot of people here liking that a whole lot!
@JoyfulClover your hand cut paper scene is amazing. You must have steady hands and a VERY sharp blade, wow!
@Bunny1kenobi you made shrinky apothecary buttons? That is so cool! I love the fabric you used for those placemats too, do you happen to remember if it has a specific name? I’d like to look that up…
@wittychild I’m so happy my parcel got to you so quickly and that you liked it. The wildly colourful butterflies were fail #3, I’ll make a post about it all later on so y’all can laugh and shake your heads along with me
@thanate you really do have embroidery patterns for everything, don’t you? That is perfect for bunny!
What an amazing gallery this is already and we have so much more to go, woohoo!
Those butterflies are such happy things…beautiful on their own and on the notecards…
Love the bunny aviator…
Also, those ikat placemats are stunning!
Your enthusiasm is like bathing I’m sunshine, @Magpie.
I am in LOVE with that hoopla, @kayrun!
