Started an item yesterday. I plan to make two, so I can have one for STS too. We will see how it turns out. I am excited to get past the construction phase and on to the more creative phase.

I finished one item, am 70% on another, 50% on a 3rd and haven’t even started the last. Also, super impatiently waiting for something to dry that is taking FOREVER and mentally debating between E6000 and Gorilla Glue for the ______.

I used to use e6000 for everything then I started noticing it yellow things over time. I switched to this recently and it works really well. I wonder if it’s the same as gorilla glue?

Well it fits the monster theme if nothing else! I haven’t seen that glue before, thanks for the suggestion. I’ll definitely check it out. Though I’m thinking I’ll need bolts in addition to glue…

My monsters are almost done but on hold while I learn a fancy new trick and supplies arrive. My partner is in the hospital so I am not in a hurry to send out yet…

I had so many plans to have so much done by now, but 5 days in the hospital set me back. Luckily, i had ordered all my supplies. I plan to get back to work on it tomorrow. Im still excited to see if i can pull it off.

Your partner is patient and has spent more than her fair share of time in the hospital, so take whatever time you need. Besides, I have no idea how well this next trick will work. But I’ll be trying to finish up Monday while the bike shop is closed.

Finished my last item for partner 1 and I’m ridiculously in love with it. This one is going to hurt to let go and it’s one of the coolest things I’ve made this year.
Tweaked an item for partner 2 and I’m much happier with it. I just need to finishe one more little piece and then I’ll be able to send to both partners. Hoping to do that Thursday. I hate being so close to the deadline and not having my bits all wrapped up.
