Feeling better today so thats a good sign. I hate being sick. Being under the weather just isnt my cup of tea
Honestly cant recall when I last had the flu, Its knocked the socks off for sure. Dont recall it ever being this rough. Again the saying “aging isnt for the weak or meek of heart” goodness.

I have a few good ideas, so I’ll be stocking up on a couple materials i don’t already have this weekend, as long as i don’t get called into work.
Nope. I do have favorite decks for various kinds of readings though. My general go-to deck is this one:
I have favorite tarot cards, but none that i consider mine, mostly because I didn’t really take tarot seriously until recently. I have always considered myself a dreamer so i identified with the Moon card a lot, especially when I was younger. I keep getting the Emperor card recently tho, and at first I hated it, but i think it means that i should empower myself more?
I have a card that I associate with myself. From a specific deck. When I first saw it, I thought “that’s me!”. Years later a lover and I were talking, and I was trying to tell him about the card, but I couldn’t remember which one it was, and he said “High Priestess… it’s High Priestess. I always associate you with High Priestess” and when I finally made it through the stack…
High Priestess. I mean… pink and green (not sure those colors are traditionally associated, but well covered here. Those are my 2 main colors I gravitate towards; you could argue this is more peach but… I’m going pinkish), cat, book, keys… long brown hair (well: longish on the card).
Yeah: I clicked with this card for the artwork, and I’ve been trying (off and on) over the years to figure out who the artist is and if I can get a print for my wall. HE associates it with me due to waives hands all the meanings of the card and everything he knows and feels about me.

I’ve always felt like I vibed with the Empress.
The Empress. I have a friend who does weekly tarot readings for me and I always come out as The Empress.
I don’t really have a card I consider to be mine. The magician from the rider deck I like.
I’ve always loved the three of cups. The three women dancing and toasting in a circle. I’ve been working on finding/creating a version of it to get tattooed on my arm.
So I’m at that stage where I have the idea, tools are gathered, sketches are sketched, and space is made ready to create and I’m intimidated by actually doing it! I don’t want to mess it up.

Me on the other hand… i made something today but it just looks clumsy. I’m not sure if i should remake from scratch, it or try something else entirely.
