And this next one wasn’t intended to be a craft project at all, but because it took so long, and I used all salvaged and repurposed supplies, I’m also submitting it for the
DEMOLITION DERBY County Fair Event!

Brief Description: Ughhh this took WAY TOO LONG. I got an extra wire run for my chookns, to give them some extra space, but part of the reason they’re enclosed in the first place is to try and avoid H5N1 if at all possible, which means it won’t help much when the little wild doves can just fit through the holes. Luckily, I had some screen material leftover from another chicken enclosure I built, so I used it to cover this coop…I hand-sewed everything on with a strong cotton yarn. Toward the end, rhe bits of screen I had left required a lot of frankenstein-ing to get it covered, but I think it works pretty well! And it took a really long time and my left foot ended up super tan from being outside!
