Project: Bon Voyage Notecards
Brief Description: I have a whole boxful of embossing folders, and many of them I have not used because I am still trying to find a creative way to use them. So, I got them out and played around and settled on this fun globe one that I actually cut out. I also used the “Bon Voyage” stamp for the first time.

Thanks @storerboughtcreation for letting me use my craft challenge entry for my prompts this month! It was so hard holding off on sharing these cards! Now that the Happy Mail group is starting to receive their surprise gifts, I can make the rest I need to make and create my Battle post, too! Wooo!
Prompt: July - Ski Vacation Team: Project Name: Blanket for Jess Project Link:Foxy/herringbone baby blanket Brief Description: I made this for my first cousin once removed. She’s having her first baby this fall. A blanket is used to stave away the cold. Project Photo(s):
@roler, your altered Pokemon cards are fantastic! I love them. And the Nessie Hoop is perfect!
@Lynx, those are great cards! That hummingbird stamp is one of the things that first got me back into art, honestly. And I’d award bonus points if I could for the knowledge… but then I’d have to dock you for making me want to go on a vacation to Arizona… in July…
@storerboughtcreation, you crochet like nobody’s business, I will never not be in awe of all of your projects!
hahahaha! I just saw a memory in my Facebook posts from this day 4 years ago. I was happy that our temps had dropped from 117 to 105, and were supposed to stay at 105 for the next two weeks. I was just commenting how messed up that is

Project: The "Happy Mail Gang" is charmed!

@Lynx I really want to learn how to make pretty masterboards like the ones you’re using. So vibrant! I LOVE those fish stamps!! Every one of those cards is so colorful and fun, and I particularly like the cactus one you sent me! Watch out; it may get cut up and used for more ATCs in the future, giving more craftiness forward! XD And you ARE tempting me with that happy mail stuff, but as I said, I’m a wee bit too busy right now. Hopefully later this year!
@storerboughtcreation That blanket is SO well done! I don’t know how you keep your tension so perfectly even like that. The colors look great and it’s just all around classy looking!
Prompt: July - City Vacation Team: Project Name: Ginormous Plesiosaurus Project Link:Ginormous Plesiosaurus Brief Description: A plesioursaur fossil can be found in any natural history museum Project Photo(s):
Prompt: July - Battle - RV Team: Project Name: camper ornament Project Link: Brief Description: This little RV was too cute not to make for the battle. I added a loop to the top so it can be an ornament. Project Photo(s):
Prompt: July Battle - Hotel
Team: Knotty by Nature
Project Name: Cardigan mending
Project Link:
Brief Description: My cardigan had a tear in it so I decided to do some embroidery mending. Qualifying this as hotel because I am living in a hotel for the next month & because the stupid hotel heating/air conditioners make the rooms too cold or too hot.

Prompt: July - Staycation Team: Knotty by Nature Project Name: Bonnie Puffin Project Link:Bonnie Puffin Brief Description: Bonnie will be a lovely friend around the house. Project Photo(s):
You know I love your big beautiful water creature! XD So cuuuute! I bet she’d be a good friend to Nessie. And excellent idea to make the RV into an ornament. It’ll be so cute on a tree!
I agree with AIMR; that looks even better than before! That little mushroom and snail scene is one of the cutest mends I’ve ever seen!! Now Really want to learn how to do that. It’s amazing!
Prompt: July Battle - Hotels Team: Running With Scissors Project Name: ATC for my hubby Project Link:My first FAMILY ATC Brief Description: This ATC references a time my honey stayed at a hotel in Hawaii (see link) Project Photo(s):
Brief Description: Been messing around with oil paints lately, attempted to make a field of wild flowers and came up with this. Dunno why but it reminds me of the kind of art you’d find on a wall in a hotel.
Brief Description: I have been meaning to make myself a blanket for the longest time and finally got around to doing it. I am in love with bright colors so this is the perfect blankie for me to cuddle up with.
Brief Description: I painted this to practice making a larger version for my mom for Christmas, I really love how it turned out and can’t wait to finish the larger one on canvas.
That blanket— wowza! And the flower painting is so soft and pretty. Who doesn’t love Loki, right? And your moose turned out great! I don’t think I could even make a moose look like a moose…!
