This may not seem like it fits, but it is definitely something that will set me up for success! Yesterday, I cleaned out my fridge- I found food in the back from 2023!! The fridge was so packed that it was hard to find anything, and I couldn’t fit anything else in there. So, this morning, I got up early and hauled all of the trash (multiple trips!) to the curb.
Now, I have room in the fridge for fresh items, and I can see what’s in there. This will help me to eat better and not rely on so much takeout!
Ummmm this is so relatable. I’ve been telling myself I need to clean the fridge for kind of a while, so I should probably take inspiration from you and do that soon!

Wake Up Call! Last night I organized all my cats foods and cat meds so it is easier to do in the mornings. I have four indoor and three ferals that I feed. There are three different foods for the indoor cats, and four different meds. The outdoor cats get two types of food (wet and dry). And to make it more convoluted, I use three different plates to feed them on.
I got it all set up and organized and this morning went so much smoother. Hope this counts!
Brief Description: I have been trying to come up with a way to display enamel pins, especially the amazing pins I’ve been collecting from the challenges here, and finally had a lightbulb moment that I should make some sort of scout sash! It can also be used as a cabin or team pride flag. Also, when I think “fingerpainters,” I think about using all the colors available in big broad strokes. I used a bunch of broad strips of fabric in different colors to construct the sash.

I made it to camp!
It seems like our entire life over here was put on hold for 2 weeks, so the entire summer got shifted, and I’m just now coming into camp.
Ever since Summer Camp was announced, I kept thinking about it and what a great idea it is.
I missed the swimming test activity - not surprised as I’ve felt like I’ve been drowning for over a month now (not to worry, I’m pretty much ok now).
Anyway, here I am, hoping for an available bed in the Stargazers Cabin. Tomorrow, I’ll start catching up with everyone on what I missed here in the first days of camp.

Brief Description: I went to a crafting store “experience” place with a friend and I… was not impressed. Way overpriced, they said they couldn’t press the bag so I had to paint on it wrinkly… I’m not going to totally knock the cheap paint, because acrylic paint is fine, but it’s obvious they just grabbed the used little pots on the tables and put them back in the supply area without checking because some were super watery and others had chunks on other colors in them. Ah, well…

Brief Description: I don’t have much cafeteria experience. Never at school, I guess technically at camp, but usually food was pretty good and a lot like home. But one of the things I often choose at a buffet or cafeteria is fried shrimp because they can be such a production to make at home. But tonight I drove in and they were delicious!
I was really leaning toward asteroid…and then I read the solar system description.

What a great idea! I have a Google doc that I use (I have a template that I make a copy of every season), but your method is a perfect fit for the Summer Camp Nerd Games!
