He’s fine, thanks you! Our next biggest chance for tornado activity is 2-4am. I will probably be up late watching the weather.

Project Name: Sea turtle
Project Link: Under the Sea menagerie
Brief Description: I just finished this turtle. I think it took close to 30 hours to finish. It’s 23 inches long. It was a pain, and I won’t make this pattern again. It was too finicky.

Sneaking in a last-minute project now that my LGT stuff is sent. I’m blurring the photo since it hasn’t been received yet; Immaculata, if you’re reading this, don’t peek if you don’t want spoilers.

Prompt: Leprechaun (March Battle)
Team: Bits & Bobs

I had such grand plans for this round! So many projects I thought I’d get done that I just couldn’t make happen. I started a couple and then got side-tracked, so it looks like they’ll be bumped to the next round. Sorry, Team Bits and Bobs!

I do have 2 to post, and perhaps I can pull of something tomorrow night. I’ve been doing a lot of cooking, and by the time I’m done prepping to cook, cooking, eating, then cleaning up, I don’t have time to do anything creative. And, I didn’t take pictures of any of the things I’ve cooked (too busy eating!), so I can’t turn them into posts.

But, here are the two I actually did finish! I blurred the photos because I don’t know if they have all been received.

Prompt: February- Biomass
Team: Bits and Bobs
Project Name: St. Patrick’s Day Bookmark Cards
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: For the St. Patrick’s Day card exchange, I made 5 fairly plain cards, but the image on the front is actually a corner bookmark. It slides into a slot on the card, and can be removed to be used later.

Prompt: February- Hydro
Team: Bits and Bobs
Project Name: Easter Cards
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: I participated in the Easter card exchange and stamped and embossed an image that I painted with water colors. I mailed the cards off before taking the finished photo, but this is the image that made up most of the front (I added some washi tape to the front as well, but that was it).

I lied! Tonight I made dinner and decided to bust out the potholder loom, so here are a couple of last-last-minute projects. And then I’m done.

Prompt: Rabbit’s Foot (March)

Brief Description: I had a bunch of miscellaneous loops left, so I threw some in a bag, drew them out at random, and put whatever came out on the loom. Except for the couple of times I thought a section was getting too patterny and drew a second choice. (I’m only human.) I chose Rabbit’s Foot because it’s soft, and Rainbow felt obvious.

Absolutely amazing work again everyone!!!

I’ve been in quite a crafting slump lately (as @storerboughtcreation and @roler can attest - I postponed quite a few of our crafty zooms!). Hoping to remedy this now. Fingers crossed!!
