Prompt: You butter believe it (the top quilt is bound in a buttery yellow)
Team: Veggie Vigilantes
Project Name: Re-binding the couch quilts
Project Link: N/A
Brief Description: We have some lap quilts on the couch that have been well loved over the past two decades. The binding on both was falling to bits, it was shredded and constantly losing pieces. Despite not having any experience with quilting, I took it upon myself to mend them. I picked some coordinating fabrics from my stash, and got to work. I sewed the first yellow binding by machine. The blue quilt was in worse shape, so I hand sewed it. It took ages, but they are both lovely and functional once more.
