I loooooooove pozole!!!
I have a friend who is part Cuban who makes some amazing things with plantains. One of these days I need to ask her for a recipeā¦
Also, now we are immensely curious (DH and I) what Mexican food is like in Germany. But, also, I am betting that we make terrible German food here in the US.
Thereās a couple New Mexican restaurants in Brooklyn (NY) that I am planning to check out next time I visit my brother there. Iāve heard both good and bad about them.
Well, they serve things like tacos, enchiladas or quesadillas but in general it is extremely bland. And almost always lacking cumin and cilantro. When I moved back from the US I made tortillas and refried beans from scratch, because I didnāt find a store that carried them. That changed a bit but fresh cilantro is still hard to come by. I just grow it on my balcony.
I never thought of trying German restaurants while I was in the US. However I was not very fond of the soft Pretzels that I tried there. Maybe I should share my go-to recipe for those ![]()
I thought I had already commented, as I keep coming back to look at this, but I guess not⦠THANKS SO MUCH for sharing! This looks so delicious, omg.
Aww, thank you! And, you are very welcome!
