I’m Megan in Indiana, USA. I welcome cards from all skill/experience levels! Nothing political, preachy, Covid-related, or shedding glitter, please. I’m not a fan of vulgarity for vulgarity’s sake, but if you’ve got a great quotation you want to use with a swear word or something in it, go for it. (Except the c-word; no time for that.) If you aren’t sure whether something will fly, please don’t hesitate to ask. I keep my cards in sleeves in a binder, so I appreciate low bulk, but that’s not a deal-breaker.

Here are my themes this month:

-Something for my TV Sleuths collection! Send me your fave, or I can provide a list of some of mine.
-artist’s choice
-Reimagined Clue character (game version or movie version). Change their traditional gender, give 'em a theme, make 'em half dinosaur – interpret however you like.
-black + neon
-a card in a style/technique you’ve wanted to try
-classic board game
-books/reading
-the Berenstain Bears
-The Babysitter’s Club books
-currently reading/current musical jam

Here are my themes, happy for them to be loosely interpreted.

Hi! I live in the USA.

I prefer flat, paper cards as I store them in a binder. (flat sequins or glitter ok, but no 3D embellishments)
Hand drawn / painted illustration is my fav style (all skill levels!), but please do feel free to do other styles.
I love: shiny, metallics, glow in dark, glittery goodness (sparkle pens or sealed glitter), holographic
Please no digital prints/reproductions of your work in lieu of the original.
No: creepy bugs, bears, clowns, Santas, politics, nudity/pinups/NSFW, curse words or blood/gore.

Thank you for claiming me!

• Birds
• Hens
• anthropomorphic birds, bunnies, mice
• birds as a famous character (e.g. A bird as Gandalf)
• Birds getting into trouble / doing silly things
• birds/bunnies/mice in clothing
• birds/bunnies/mice wearing a crown
• birds, bunnies, or mice reading
• robot or steampunk bird
• fantasy creature (e.g. dragons, jackelope, wolpertinger, phoenix, unicorns etc.)
• cute woodland creatures (no bears!)
• an autumn forage
• ornate dagger or sword
• treasure
• Geodes
• crystals
• gems
• jewel encrusted object (normal like jewelry or silly like a jewel encrusted wooden spoon)
• Fabergé egg
• a dragon egg
• light in a bottle
• light shadow box
• mysterious
• Enchanted forest (sweet or dark)
• a secret portal

• Beatrix Potter - Peter Rabbit
• Star Wars - original 3 only - (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi)
• Lord of the Rings
• Hunger Games (books or movies)
• Harry Potter book series
• Dumbledore
• Snape
• Calvin and Hobbes
• Wallace the Brave
• Red Riding Hood
• Life is Strange video game (some ideas, but not limited to: Max is my fav character, Arcadia Bay)

cute creature/mouse/bunny/etc on a journey (i.e. something like a little mouse with backpack and walking stick walking in a strange world. Doesn’t have to be this exactly, but something that evokes the same kind of feeling. Like a hobbit on a quest sort of feeling.)

Strange world concept art - (NOT Disney) Illustrate a strange world, like a new world from a video game. Could be futuristic, fantastical, alien. Could be the landscape with strange flora & fauna or rock formations or multiple suns/moons etc, could be the town with buildings. You decide.

apocalypse aesthetic world art - The zombie apocalypse has happened a few years ago. What does the world / terrain / buildings/ landscape look like now? You don’t have to add humans or zombies. I’m thinking more like abandoned places etc.

art done in the style of:
-Edward Gorey
-Mouseguard (comic)
-Creaks (amanita designs video game)
-machinarium (amanita designs video game)
-Iain Mccaig

Inspired by my Pinterest boards: “Art I Like” board, “Harry Potter” board, or “Beautiful Things” board on Pinterest

A pen and Ink with watercolor

Limited palette art - black/white/grey PLUS one other color (can use all shades of this one color, light to dark). Subject matter is entirely up to you.
