Just for fun - I know @Kwality570 just posted a new round the 4 x 6 swap.
We went away overnight, and got home quite late, so yesterday was a small sketch in a cafe and some collage when I got home. I wouldnāt normally have made time for art yesterday, but the size of the ICAD challenge made it easy.
Iām so glad you were able to squeeze one in, @jemimah!
My midnight card for day 7 is a cobbled-together Tim Holtz sticker poem. The background is from a Meera Lee Patel calendar page.
Found a tin at the creative reuse store for this yearās ICADS. Plus more index cards and fortunes.
As I was waiting in line to pay, they were rolling in shopping carts full of paper - larger than 23ā x 36ā. Iāll have to come back!
I had a lot going on today so I just played around with a circle template that @irid3sc3nt sent me. I plan on using the template to make circles I need to do some zentangles.
Iām rearranging some of this weekās prompts to make it easier for me to (probably) complete cards while Iām visiting my parents later in the week.
Today I worked with the iridescent prompt by making a card with goodies our own @irid3sc3nt has sent me
.
I added a bit of gel/paint pen for accent.
And a bonus background for another day!
These are really inspiring!
Iāve seen you use those stamps before. do you remember what brand they are?
Lovely cards @Smmarrt and @megwell
My creative mojo is MIA today, so Iām just noodling.
These are todayās.
Iām also doing a quick note on the back about anything thatās happening. I figure future me will appreciate it
Very nice! Love the mixed media workā¦the stamps are fabulous the way you used them!
I was so gung ho but then life got in the way againā¦when that happens, I revert to mundane, repetitive things to keep me occupiedā¦comfort things like crochet or hand sewing.
I tried to do some cards last night but just stared at them. Maybe today.
I hear you! This is why I stuck random stuff on a load of cards, itās easier to do one when itās already āstartedā
I like the random ones, they do tell a story.
@geekgirl - the ladies are Kate Craneās designs. Sheās with PaperArtsy now, Carabelle went out of business. You can look at Joggles, SimonSaysStamp, or Amazon. They were selling knock-offs on Temu so I stopped shopping with them.
Oh thatās a bummer, I always really liked their stuff.
I guess Iām off-prompt today. I set out to do the embroidery one, but then I didnāt want to add stitching to the card Iād come up with.
The background is softer in person. I donāt know why my camera wants to bring out the yellow so much, but
.
