Just discovered another unposted project, so my third item is …

C2C Baby Blanket

Towards the end of 2021, it seemed like a number of LC members were making C2C blankets in varying sizes so I gave it a try myself and realized I never posted the finished project. [IMG_2163] It’s been hanging around my studio, not sure what my plan was for it. I have a new grandson but I made him a quilt and his other gramma and great-gramma both knit him blankets.

Turned twill towels in blues, grey, and magenta

Ever since @jemimah moved into her new house I knew I wanted to weave her some towels and was thrilled to get the chance for the IYP swap. I was so excited to send them off that I didn’t get proper pictures so I’m borrowing some of hers [IMG_0113] [IMG_0114] Here are some on loom pics [IMG_6011] [IMG_6072] [IMG_6081] Here’s what they looked like when I cut them off the loom. Painted canvas journal

I made this painted canvas journal for @jemimah in the IYP swap. I was so excited to send that I forgot to take pictures so I’m using one of hers [IMG_0115] Here’s a pic of it closed. I reenforced the inside of the spine with tyvek to keep the holes for the elastic from expanding. [IMG_6632] This was really fun to make because I painted a larger piece or canvas then got to decide which part to rip out for the journal cover. Thanks for looking!

I found a third project

Gelli printing over paper turned art

A couple months ago I did a long gelli printing session and loved how the over paper looked and decided to turn it into wall art! I made myself a little view finder to find the part I liked the most then wrapped it around an 8x8 canvas. [image] I love everything about this piece (the shapes, translucency of the layers, colors, asymmetry) and have been studying it to see what I can use in future art work.

Thanks for organizing this challenge, it was fun to look back through past projects and finally make some dedicated posts for them

A kitty for Gozer

[4x6venkmanmushroom] I painted this for @gozer in the first 4x6 art swap here on Lettuce Craft. It was for two of her themes (mushrooms and cats) and I painted this little cat to resemble her kitty named Venkman. Thanks for looking!

Mini Cactus Coptic Journal

[image] [image] This is a pocket sized coptic journal that measures 2.5" x 3.75". It has a hardcover and is coptic bound using waxed linen cord with 5 signatures. I used off white drawing paper for the signatures. This was one of the smallest coptic journals I’ve made and it was a lot of fun. Thanks for looking!

Here are two for me

Dragonfly & Bicycles ~ 4 x 6 Art

I made these in the past for the 4 x 6 Art swaps I had fun assembling this dragonfly with masterboard pieces. The blue-ish part of the background is a paint scraped masterboard punched into hexagons and re-configured. The wordy part says “it’s the little things that make life big” [IMG-5290] I had a set of bicycle stamps that I used for this piece along with some gelli print papers and mounting tape for some dimension. "Reinicles" or One Craft for my Stamp Obsession

I make it no secret that I like postage stamps… I have… a few Well sometime around last year I started using postage stamps to make these scrappy bookmark-ish things. One of the women in my crafting group dubbed them “Reinicles” (a play on my name, Reinikka, and the word “icicle”). I haven’t seen them done anywhere else but if there is a different name for them I would be happy to know I start with a strip of cardstock as wide as the stamp then cover it with scr…
