I received a gorgeous, happy envelope from @EclecticDreamer 
We agreed to just swap an envelope to keep the postage low. Well, she stuffed so much crafty goodness into that little envelope!!
She made two beautiful bookmarks, with lovely quotes 
And, she also sent the coolest collection f vintage ephemera and bits for my collage and art journaling supplies

Also I really hope Art Salvage still has photo negatives. I really want to make something with them, too! (My city has a repurposed/recycled art store. People donate items they no longer want, and they resell for people to craft with. It’s a treasure trove!)

Hello dear friends, I’m checking in. It’s been a while, we are stunningly busy with some life stuff going on. It’s all good things, no need to worry, but it literally eats every minute of our time.
I emailed with Linda recently and they are hanging in. Her husband is on the long road to recovery, it’s been incredibly challenging for them both. She’s only just opened your swap packages to her and they were so appreciated. She wrote that she cried over how thoughtful, personal and special everything is.
So, thank you again, so very much, for sending such kindness to her before anybody even knew how much it was going to be needed. It really makes a difference to know that people in the world think of you and care for you and are sending you love, that’s incredibly encouraging and healing.

First look-
A lovely snarky card (my favorite kind)-
The treats- a savory, a sweet, a tea, and all gluten free! I have been looking for these cookies at my TJ without success, so this was especially great.
The big item- she was inspired by my baba yaga themes and made this house wall shelf to hold the jar of F**ks for when I run out!
(actually a whole jar of affirmations! With a moon on the lid!)
I love all the details on the house- the beaded chicken legs with the fringe, the individual shingles on the roof, the painted brick chimney, what look like glow in the dark stars on the ceiling
This certainly brightened my day and will for many to come! Thank you again @TruGritty - what an angel!

Thank you, @magpie, for letting everyone know that my husband and I got kicked around by life a bit more than we could handle for the last 5 months. Bad enough to make a major move, but 4 surgeries on top of that really put us both in life spin.
I also want to thank my partners, @Tapestry and @jeanneleigh , for giving me hope and something to hang on to during this time. I took pictures of everything and will post all the goodies over the next few days…truly talented and kind people here.
I also thank the swap angels who stepped up and sent out some awesome packages!
This is indeed a Positive Affirmations gallery…I can’t be on a lot since I am still taking care of my husband, but he is getting better each day, so I am glad to hop in and see all the posts (phew…there were tons of things made that I missed!)…

I am sort of glad that you didn’t take a lot of pictures @Tapestry so that I can show off what you sent!
My husband was in a very down period mentally but he could not help but smile and get energized to keep on going when he got this. His cat Spuds has been at his side through it all. I brought him home when he was a tiny kitten and this reminded my husband of the months of hand feeding him and holding him. This really is so great!
Spuds with his dads when he first found us 17 yrs ago: (sorry for the crotch shot, but kittens know a warm spot! 
)
