I have my project in progress. I’ve been slacking/procrastinating a bit but am confident I can send on time.
I have plans to treat myself to an early Valentine this week, depending on when I’m running errands in the area.

I finished one package completely last night. I haven’t started the pieces for my other two partners, but I do have my extras for them.
I would personally LOVE an extension. I’m a bit stressed about finishing the things I have planned because I always overthink and also can’t stick to a swap size to save my life. My smalls are probably mediums. Though the first was physically small.
My sweet thing this week (quite literally): I’m gonna go buy a fancy cookie for myself this afternoon.

An extension definitely wouldn’t bother me…
I am going to make time to bake another (hopefully more successful) batch of gingerbread this week. Having time to bake makes me feel less overly busy even if I am just overly busy. And, it’s sweet!

I had ideas percolating, but haven’t started yet. Need to regroup and refocus. I had to re-do an item for another swap due to USA to Canada postal issues and I’ll be finishing that tonight. I’ll be able to pick up this swap again tomorrow. So… i still hope to be done by 9th but an extension would be appreciated.
As for something sweet for myself - I’m taking myself to see Solo Mio on Saturday. and I talked a guy friend into going with me. Probably only because I told him I’d already bought 2 tickets and friend A works, friend B is temporarily in a care facility, and he’s next on the list. He feels guilty telling me no to things, and would feel doubly bad if I lost $. (Ohh! And he said no to my mention of a LOTR movie potluck party last week. So guilt really probably is most of it)

One of my packages is under control and will be done by the deadline. The other is giving me trouble, and I might have to rethink parts of it. Kind of over complicated something and am stuck

I’m still here and crafting, but I haven’t been on much because I’ve been swamped with my studies, melted by a revolting heatwave (we had highs over 40C for a whole week, 44 some days, blergh, and it’s still too hot), and also an injured husband working grumpily from the couch (not grumpy with me, I hasten to add).
I’m very grateful for a few more days, and sorry I’ve been slow with my messages!!
