Oooh I love the idea of this swap, although I’m probably more interested in more crass affirmations along the lines of “You got this, you bad*ss,” haha.

Also, @Magpie, I tend to tell myself a similar thing to the one you mentioned about wishing you started something now, and it’s something I’ve heard that’s basically, “the best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago; the second best time is now.” Whenever I think it’s too late to do something or learn something or fix something, I tell myself that the second best time is now!

(And another recent variation I heard was something along the lines of “we always think about going back in time to do one thing differently to change what is happening now; but we rarely think of doing one little thing differently now to change the future.”)

Anyway, I’m going to take a day or two to think about jumping in this one!

Oh man, we’re so far up north that there’s no internet, lol.
