I made this zip pouch for @PrincessP in the Harry Potter Swap.
This was my first time trying my hand at quilt as you go! I used this tutorial. It’s not perfect - there are a few spots where I didn’t catch my edges, but overall I love how it came out and would definitely use this technique again.
Here are the 2 panels before I sewed them together:
The embroidery in the center was inspired by the fabulous work of Sarah Beth Timmons .
