Recent drawings

This year I’ve been really focussing on art, and on developing my skills. I’ve been doing an online course (New Masters Academy), and the reference images are mostly from that, plus working from life where possible. The course is challenging, but I feel like the hard work is making a difference.

These are a few recent drawings -

I really enjoy working with conte on coloured paper. It’s kind of an old fashioned look, but I like the way you can get good depth and highlights with them. Thanks for looking
