I was trying to make an advent calender out of the boxes but if I try again Iā€™ll get precut squares. I had to give up because my squares werenā€™t square so they werenā€™t holding together (also omg tiny!)

@geekgirl did the vial of glitter water survive the trip? It had a couple crystals in it, and shake it for swirly shimmery colored water. Iā€™m sorry if it didnā€™t survive :frowning:

Glad you like everything! Thanks for being my swap partner. (Also being patient while I got over being sick before finishing and shipping)

Also I love that box so much Iā€™m going to be making myself one just like it.

I got my wonderful Santa Sack from @photojenn today, just in time for Christmas!! Everything is fantastic!

Here are all the gifts, which came in this elegant drawstring bag, all wrapped in my favourite colours, so pretty!

The stocking stuffers were amazing, some lovely art supplies - two little sketchbooks, a luscious watercolour travel journal, and some bleed proof white paint! All brilliant, and all things I didnā€™t have already :grinning:

She made me a set of stylish abstract art cards, they are gorgeous!

She also sewed me a lovely pencil/brush roll for carrying around small art supplies, itā€™s so nice, and the fabric is adorable!

(And it was pre-loaded with a couple more little stocking stuffers too )

Best of all, she made me this beautiful bird artwork, itā€™s fabulous! Itā€™s done in pastel and coloured pencil, itā€™s so delicate and expressive! (I left the protective cover on it until I frame it, but hopefully the reflections on the photo arenā€™t too bad.)

Thank you so much @photojenn for such a generous and thoughtful package! I love everything!

Wow, @photojenn! What a truly amazing package. I adore the bird art and that art roll is so pretty & useful! Plus the abstract cards are lovely and such well chosen art extras! Yay for a Christmas delivery miracle!

Iā€™m anxiously waiting for my package to reach @wittychild. Come on universe, one more postal miracle pretty please?

Fingers crossed! Iā€™m also crossing my fingers that my package from jemimah comes today. Letā€™s have postal miracles all around!

Itā€™s dark out so Iā€™m not going to be able to do these beauties justice in my photos but LOOK WHAT @jemimah SENT ME!:heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

I just love the wrapping with the tags and matching bag!

First up a tube of Australian watercolor in Australian grey! It looks like such a pretty color, Iā€™m looking forward to trying it!

Next a pretty resin trinket dish made by a local crafter!

And the most fancy mug Iā€™ve ever owned, an Australian designed mug with a sulphur-crested cockatoo! And it has a great handle!

And for the crafted goodiesā€¦ first up this great mug rug! Itā€™s so iconically jemimah and Iā€™m going to have a hard time using it because I donā€™t want to stain it :joy:

And a brush roll that fits both short and long handle brushes! I asked for something for plein air painting and she used the coolest leaf pattern fabric and a great tie with chunky closure!

And lastly, a gorgeous art piece!!

Thank you SO much Kirsten! What a truly thoughtful and special package!

@photojenn that crow is so pretty, as I side in itā€™s own post. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@EclecticDreamer the origami boxes are a fun idea!

This was a really fun swap!

I think I forgot to say in my note, the Australian Grey is kind of a neutral pink/buff, and it can be very useful for mixing skin tones.

Thanks for the kind comments friends :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Oh my goodness! What a lovely set of goodies, @jemimah! I adore that painting and what a great brush roll. That fabric is gorgeous and so perfect for plenair painting! Speaking of perfect - that mug rug! Chefā€™s kiss to everything.

Yay for a mini postal miracle with it arriving just in time!

Good idea! Itā€™s a color I was missing in my palette so Iā€™m really looking forward to using it :). I can see it being a great neutral for mixing muted colors.

I couldnā€™t stand to use the mug rug and decided it needed to be decoration instead  I attached a temporary holder to it in case I want to use it as a mug rug later. It just looks so good next to my desk

After much crossing of fingers and gnashing of teeth, my package from @Tapestry finally made its way out of Canada Postā€™s backlog of international parcels once the strike ended and made its grand appearance in the mailbox yesterday.

And good things come to she who waits!

I had intended to wait until daylight to unbox and take pictures, and that resolve lasted only a couple of hours before I descended on the box like a wild beast. (Latent Christmas energy, maybe?)

Everything was wrapped up so prettily, I wasnā€™t sure where to begin.

The lighting doesnā€™t do it justice (sorry!), but I keep turning the card this way and that to admire the sparkly background.

Iā€™m so intrigued by this mini sack! Itā€™s got such a nice structure, and now I kind of want to try making some for next Christmas.

It housed kitty-themed washi tape and ornaments. I looooved the cranky kitty ornaments she made for the Small Batch Ornament Match last year, and these have that same charm.

Cat themed stationery and fabricā€¦there might be a theme, lol! The jewel tones of the dragon fabric are just begging for a special project.

And the piĆØce de rĆ©sistanceā€¦
ā€¦let me preface that by saying that when I had listed ā€œretroā€ as a theme I like I didnā€™t know which direction (or if) that would be taken, but OMG!

The most adorable Rudolph TV! I am so sad that Christmas is over, because I want this to be out and seen and admired by everyone - and I might just have to do that anyway, regardless of the season.

I was so in awe of the overall effect that I didnā€™t notice all the details and texture at onceā€¦but using seed beads as garland is perfect! The clay offers so much dimensionā€¦I really canā€™t say enough about this!

Thank you @Tapestry for a wonderful, so-worth-the-wait package, and @geekgirl for organizing!

The little tv diorama is so cute! This package truly shows off @Tapestry 's chameleon crafting skills! I am also interested in that little bagā€¦

The cat paintings, though, are my favoriteā€¦Christmas might be over, but I think those of you in Canada should get a few more weeks to enjoy these late Christmas goodies!

Iā€™m sooooo relieved the package finally arrived! But also sad itā€™s two weeks post Christmas :sob:. Glad you like everything!

Iā€™ve had the chipboard altoids tin tv frame for a year and the second I saw your retro theme I knew it was meant for you! I need to work on making smaller clay creations, but overall Iā€™m happy with how it turned out!

Iā€™ll make a seperate post for the bag. You can use it as a bag or a basket.

@AIMR- thank you! I 100% agree about Canadians deserving extra time to enjoy their long-delayed holiday packages!
