This is lovely. I have so much admiration for people who can quilt like this. I “wing-it” with much of my work so precision quilting is something that is just not in my wheel house. Great job.
How long did this take? What a work of art!
Thank you. It’s difficult to quantify how long, because I did it in stages. Any scraps that I generated from other projects, I cut into 2.5" strips, so I collected them for a while.
Then I sewed them into a sets of three strips and went from there. It definitely took longer than working with yardage, I’d say twice as long, because there was a lot of cutting and not everything was fully on the grain. As a wild guess 15-20 hours.
