@thanate is a new one partner for me I think? My brain is all fuzzy this morning . I haven’t finished my coffee. 
She listed themes and things that she would use. I’ve chosen one of the things she’d use now I’m just thinking which theme I should use.

I have plotted and planned and now I’m trying my hand at some paper mache. Hoping it goes well and I have most of my sculpture assembled this weekend, ready for finishing next weekend.

Okay Im glad I started right away because uhm…paper mache has to be built up in layers and I knew that but I didn’t really think about the implications of all that drying time. So, started last night and I’m waiting for layer 2 to dry. I think I’ll be able to make this work. Fingers crossed. Heh.

Can origami be considered a sculpture? Not that I’m trying that… I haven’t even sat down to try cranes or folded stars yet. But at the library yesterday they had a display of the most amazing origami work… it just made me think “would this count?”

I am going to say no. Try to think of adding and subtracting material. That was my goal for the swap. Something more substantial.

I’ve just been marinating ideas for now.
I’m a teacher and we have 1 more week of school til spring break. I can’t wait to deep dive into this project then. No marking, no lesson planning, just pure creative stream of consciousness
