I sent some snail mail to the lovey and talented @calluna recently, and I painted this piece for her. About 4” x 6”, some recycled materials, paper, cardboard, foil, gesso, Inktense pencils, pen. I love happy snail mail so much!
The snail and his little bird friend really pop off the page! Beautiful piece of art.

Thanks everybody! I am trying to get better about sending snail mail this year - I know how happy it makes me to get a nice letter or card in the mail box

Yes! I love sending and receiving snail mail. This is a wonderful piece. I like how the colors just pop, especially those white dots on the shell.
