The Girly Pop and I are in the progress of decorating our porch. I made this spidey wreath and struggled to find the right spot for it. We landed on this corner of the porch ceiling. The Girly Pop says it’s perfect because it also has real spiderwebs.

As it happens, many many years ago in my first proper job after college, in the UK. The guy I worked with could not get my name Edel into his head. So he fixed onto Ariadne. I answered to Ariadne for over a year. Ariadne is associated with spiders, spinning and weaving-so very fitting.

This is awesome! My kiddo has been begging me to put up some Halloween decorations but we don’t own any. I have a wreath from last Christmas we could use to make something like this though! Is there a trick to getting the web to sit nicely like that?
