Because this memory involves my two middle children, I made one of these cards for each of them. When my daughter and middle son were very young, I was picking them up from daycare one day. My daughter kept poking her brother in the ear and saying, “I put a string in your ear.” My son replied, “What???” As if he could not hear her. This went back-and-forth for a minute or two until my daughter started getting frustrated and cranky because she wasn’t getting the response from her brother that she wanted. Meanwhile, I’m laughing my butt off behind the steering wheel and had to explain to my daughter that her brother couldn’t hear her… Because he had a string in his ear! Then she finally got the joke and laughed along. I thought it was hilarious!
Really, just fantastic! Your family is really going to treasure these along with all the other Family ATCs.
I’m not the best artist, but hopefully it’s the thought that counts!
These are just too adorable!! I love how much personality your drawings have!
What a charming little moment to capture and remember. So cute!
