I just received from @melg78! A sweet teapot shaped card, stickers, and Affirmation, and 4 tea bags. Thank you so much Mel!

Actually the tea holder is the “card" lol. I just loved it so much and couldn’t make myself make a card too. Two people (crafting friend and dental hygienist) both agreed it counted ![]()
I‘d say the seed paper counts, too.
I drink a lot of cold brew tea in the summer.
When working I usually put it in a large glass bottle with the disadvantage that the tea bag label always drops into the bottle at some point.
Your tea bag weight is perfect and is used non-stop
Genius! I love, love, love that idea and absolutely need to make a few for myself. I had a little silicone snail at some point which is suppose to hold the tag and sit on the rim of the cup, but it’s disappeared and was a little clunky to use anyway.
thank you for sharing this photo! I thought it was a great idea, but wasn’t really sure they would be a useful as I first thought. So great to see it in use!
I don’t know how many people leave the bag in while drinking but I do it all the time especially with cold brew teas. So it’s absolutely perfect!
What are the names of the two teas you got from eclecticdreamer ?
I received from both @EclecticDreamer and @Tapestry !!
This is from @EclecticDreamer :
Tea bag holder
Tea
Seed paper
Tea bag weight
I’m going to use it tomorrow. I had a hectic few days with work and I wanted to make it a special moment and get my nice cup and saucer out, and try one of your teas, and use the tea bag weight. Tea bags falling in it and having to use a fork to get them out is a fairly frequent thing for me, so this is such a clever idea.
From @Tapestry
Card and art
Tea and stickers (hedgie, obviously!)
Extra’s
Thank you so much both of you! I have no idea what to expect with any of these teas, I can’t wait to try them out one by one tomorrow. Both cards arrived really fast, too. @EclecticDreamer 's two days ago and @Tapestry 's today.
oooh, never heard of a tea weight before, very fun and helpful. I also leave my tea bags in for a long while. Thanks for the action shot!

I am so enjoying the gallery. Where crafters went with the prompts, all the different tea varieties, and of course fun, handmade cards!

I recieved today from @Immaculata!
Thank you for the gorgeous cross-stitch, Susanne! I’m lowkey obsessed with that variegated aida cloth. I’m planning on a lovely cuppa with the lemon ginger tea this evening. I have a lemon ginger Manuka honey tea that is a fave so I’m sure I’ll adore this one as well. I’m curious to try the Lady Grey and Jasmine teas as well!
The card looks like it was made with colored pencil and so lovely and delicate.
I mailed these flat so they wouldn’t be too bulky. But they are reusable tea holders you can toss in a purse or bag. This is my practice one from regular printer paper and strip of scrap fabric.
I’m hoping the same thing (about joining a future round)!
One was the same cold brew tea that @Immaculata got: peach lemon acai. It’s the only one I was able to drink in last week’s heat wave, and it was absolutely delicious.
This is the other one
I’m so relieved it arrived safely!
I’m not a big card maker, so I stole this idea to colour in a stamp and use contrasting cardstock for a “frame” from a magazine. I got the stamp from @grabacoffee in the Europe swap. I then coloured it in with coloured pencil. Probably the first colouring I’ve done since primary school lol.
I actually still crafted the item I wanted for this swap, but it ended up in my Grab Bag swap. I used it for my B idea. I can’t wait for my swap partners to receive! First time I used this technique so I was a bit nervous, but it turned out nicely!
@Immaculata, that cross stitch is lovely!
@Silky_Bee, if it’s still hot out, try the chai brewed strong, stir in a dash of honey, then pour over ice with a splash of your favorite milk. Very refreshing on a hot day!
Are you going to do a separate post on these holders? I am curious as to how they are made. They are lovely and would make wonderful items for Happy Mail or stocking stuffers!
I drank @EclecticDreamer 's Raspberry Hibiscus herbal tea and it was so nice! I wouldn’t normally think to buy a tea like that but it was so nice. And in the cup it appeared almost pink!
After I drank the tea, I put the teabag and some hot water in a bowl and added a piece of fabric. The second brew might not be as pink, but maybe I can still get a light pink tea-dye? I hope so.
I have lots of hibiscus tea. It is interesting to use as a dye because even though it is pinkish, the dye can go from pink to purple to blue! I also think is is a yummy tea!
